What does a typical tiling installation look like with us

From the start of our first contact with you, we look to get to know you and what ideas and designs that you would like to achieve. We'll come to your home and measure up the space you would like tiled, during the quotation we will talk you though what options you have in regards to finishes and colour choices. We will also talk you through what preparation work will look like and why or if it is required. We will provide you with a free written quotation based on what was discussed and we go from there...

7 days prior to your installation date we will contact you to double check we are still ok to start and let you know what time we will arrive (normally 08:30). If any removal of existing tiling or materials are required, we will install dust guards to any doors to the room with zip entry to maintain dust levels are kept low and in the zone we are working in. We will prepare the room ready for tiling and talk you through how the layout will look prior to installing. When all is correct we will begin tiling.

Tiling can take a day to several weeks, during this time we will always maintain high standards of safety for you and ourselves. We will keep our tools in a designated place. We will at the end of every day tidy away any tools or tiles leaving the area as clean as possible for the work to commence the following day, we do this even if you do not need to use the room in the evening. We install tiles inline with current British and European standards.

Most of all we make sure we keep communicating with you at each step.

We understand that most of us will need to use our homes whilst work is being carried out, we do our best to provide you with access throughout your home whilst working. When it comes to hallway floor tiling we will divide the tiling up so this will still provide you with access to your stairs and kitchen.

When all the tiling is completed we will clean the tiles, apply any sealant to them if required and then grout is applied. We clean the area again and ensure we leave no mess behind.

If you would like to know more about our approach or how we can help you with your tiling project,  please call us for a chat or email us with any questions.
